Go beyond our professional learning courses and tailored support offerings and receive targeted, job-embedded support for up to nine teachers and the instructional leaders, principals, and coaches who support them in this unique, limited-release offering. Coaching by i-Ready uses learning walks to define areas of focus that inform coaching cycles. This approach provides structured, specific, and supportive guidance through teacher learning cohorts to improve practice and benefit student outcomes.
Educators work on program best practices with a classroom-experienced i-Ready Certified Coach. Certified Coaches receive internal training as well as training from the Instructional Coaching Group on ways to establish clear communication, build trust and healthy relationships, and navigate through complex situations.
Instructional leaders and teachers expand and reinforce their knowledge of best instructional practices by participating in active coaching pathways featuring co-planning, co-facilitation, and co-reflection within the context of the classroom itself. Ownership of learning and long-term retention of new material are reinforced through essential feedback loops that keep best instructional practices at the heart of this new, curriculum-based implementation offering.
“I don’t think we would be in the place that we are right now without coaching. Even the students look forward to the people from i-Ready coming in. Professional learning that happens when students are in the building, while students are learning, and when students learning as a result of professional learning is something that goes a long way for the teacher, the coach, and the students themselves.” Josh Almeida, Curriculum, Data, and Assessment Manager, New Bedford Public Schools
Across the academic year, instructional leaders and teachers work with an i-Ready Certified Coach as they engage in a series of learning walks and collaborative coaching cycles, focused on strengthening effective teaching and learning of a selected program based on our research-grounded Collaborative Learning Framework.
Choose between leader and teacher pathways, both with in-person (i.e., job-embedded) and virtual touchpoints.
