State law provides residents of California and other certain states, including Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Virginia, with the additional rights listed below.
Right to Know
You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection of your personal information. Upon our receipt of your verified request, we will provide you with the following:
Right to Limit Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
We do not sell any information that identifies you personally like your name or phone number. However, when you visit the CA Website, we store cookies on your browser to collect information to make the CA Website work as you expect it to and to provide you a more personalized web experience, and we do work with advertising partners who use cookies and device identifiers as described in this CA Website Privacy Policy to show ads that are targeted to your interests. Under the CPRA and other state laws, you have the right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information to third parties, and some of these disclosures to our advertising partners may be considered sales under those laws, even though we do not obtain any monetary or other compensation for such engagements. You can decline to have personal data collected via third-party tracking technologies by navigating to the settings feature in your browser and declining third-party cookies or declining third-party cookies from specific sites, or, for mobile, limiting ad tracking or resetting the advertiser identifier via the privacy settings on your mobile device. Our partners may use non-cookie technologies that may not be impacted by browser settings that block cookies, or your browser may not permit you to block such technologies. If you have subscribed to an email communications list from CA and you wish to stop receiving those marketing communications, you can unsubscribe from those emails at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in the bottom of any such email you receive.
With respect to personal information collected by CA in connection with a form you completed that was related to region- or product-specific marketing campaigns on our website or through the ReadyBot, you can subsequently opt out of CA’s future use and collection of the personal information you have provided to us through those channels by submitting a request to info@cainc.com.
Right to Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information
Curriculum Associates does not collect or share your sensitive personal information, as that term is defined under Section 1798.140 of the California Privacy Rights Act.
Right to Delete
You have the right at any time to request that we delete your personal information. There are a number of exceptions to this right, however, and if one of those exceptions is applicable, we will not delete your data in response to your request. We will provide you with an explanation as to why we cannot delete your data in response to a request.
Right to Correct Inaccurate Personal Information
You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information about you, taking into account the nature of the personal information and the purposes for CA’s processing of that information.
Right to Appeal a Refusal to Take Action
Certain states provide its residents with the rights to appeal a refusal by CA to take action with respect to requests protected under applicable law. We will inform you of our decision to not take action along with an explanation of that determination. You may appeal our refusal to take action within forty-five (45) days of our decision, by either emailing privacy@cainc.com or by calling the following toll-free number: 1 (800) 225-0248. You may also contact the attorney general in your state of residence if you have concerns about the results of the appeal. In connection with any consumer request, we may request that you provide additional information reasonably necessary to authenticate your request.
Right to Non-discrimination
We will not take any adverse actions against you for exercising your rights under the CPRA or applicable laws.

As described in our Privacy Policy, we engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to us, including hosting and maintenance, error monitoring, debugging, performance monitoring, website optimization, database storage and management, and direct marketing campaigns. We use NextRoll for certain marketing-analytics purposes, and their privacy obligations and practices are described in more detail here. We may share your personally identifiable information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these functions and provide such services. We also require these third parties to maintain the privacy and security of the personally identifiable information they process on our behalf.

This CPRA Policy is reviewed and updated periodically as described in the “Changes to Our Privacy Policy” section of our Privacy Policy.
Retention of Information
We will retain your personal information only as long as is reasonably necessary for the operation of our business and as otherwise required for legal compliance purposes.
How to Exercise Your Rights
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Virginia may exercise their rights under applicable state laws by either emailing privacy@cainc.com or by calling the following toll-free number: 1 (800) 225-0248. Depending on the nature of your request, we may have to verify your identity prior to responding to it. We will do our best to respond to your request as soon as we can. If we are not able to respond to your request within 45 days, we will let you know that we may require additional time, up to 90 total days. We are not able to respond to more than one “Right to Know” request from a consumer in any 12-month period.
Nevada Residents
We are required under Nevada law to notify you that we do not sell consumer personal information.
