Curriculum Associates’ i-Ready Classroom Mathematics Recognized with ESSA Tier 2 Rating for Driving Measurable Student Outcomes

 

Evidence for ESSA has awarded i-Ready Classroom Mathematics an ESSA Tier 2 rating. A Tier 2 rating means that a program meets ESSA’s definition of a well-designed and implemented study that shows positive effects on student outcomes. This recognition follows Evidence for ESSA’s review of a recent multistate efficacy study of the program conducted by the Curriculum Associates internal research team, which demonstrated its positive impact on student mathematics achievement.

The multistate efficacy study demonstrated its positive impact on student mathematics achievement. The study examined the impact of i-Ready Classroom Mathematics across multiple states and grades. Researchers found that students using the program achieved statistically significant gains in mathematics compared to similar students who did not use the program. Based on these results, Evidence for ESSA rated i-Ready Classroom Mathematics as meeting ESSA Tier 2 standards.
