Coaching by i-Ready empowers educators to implement best practices using i-Ready, Magnetic Reading™ Foundations, Magnetic Reading, Phonics for Reading®, or i-Ready Classroom Mathematics through continuous, focused support throughout the school year.
If you are a recipient of the Alaska CLSD grant, you can use funding to purchase coaching services.
Collaborative
Co-plan, co-facilitate, and co-reflect with your i-Ready Certified Coach.
Certified Coaches bring classroom experience and receive internal training, as well as training from the Instructional Coaching Group, on ways to establish clear communication, build trust and healthy relationships, and navigate through complex situations.
Connected
Utilize data and program best practices to unlock active learning and drive instructional outcomes.
Coaching by i-Ready connects professional learning, student data, and learning walk insights through focused, job-embedded support. Certified Coaches help districts, schools, leaders, and teachers turn data into transformational classroom action.
Continuous
Engage in iterative coaching cycles, using our research-grounded methods to propel growth.
Expand and reinforce learning through active coaching pathways with side-by-side support from an expert i-Ready Certified Coach. Consistent feedback loops and sustained collaboration deepen understanding, build ownership, and strengthen instructional practice over time.

Build Stronger Instructional Practice—Together
- Strengthen teacher instructional practice and build leader capacity to support teaching and learning.
- Instructional leader(s) plan, learn, and grow alongside up to nine active teacher participants.
- Three days of Learning Walks

Leader Impact CoachingBuild Instructional Coherence; Implement Promising Practices
Leader Impact Coaching offers a side-by-side team approach to coaching, bringing a laser-like focus to identifying schoolwide strengths and growth opportunities. With the expertise of an i-Ready Certified Coach, leaders analyze i-Ready data along with other student data available to the school, crafting plans that leverage best practices to drive academic gains.
Please Note: Leader Impact Coaching by i-Ready relies heavily on i-Ready data and the tools and resources provided to support academic achievement gains. An i-Ready purchase is mandatory for this pathway.

With more than 275 years of collective education experience, our i-Ready Certified Coaches are former instructional coaches, administrators, principals, curriculum coordinators, and counselors.
