Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, Curriculum Associates will be releasing a shortened version of the existing adaptive assessment in both Math and Reading. The shorter assessment will maintain robust technical qualities and cover the same essential content as the current experience but will have fewer test items. Students may see as much as a 45% decrease in number of items depending on the grade and subject.
