Prioritizing Early Intervention

Ysleta ISD serves more than 32,000 students in El Paso, Texas, 76 percent of whom have socioeconomic disadvantages. When the district adopted i-Ready Personalized Instruction for Mathematics in 2024, it built the program into their existing system of early intervention and proactive data use. Two years in, Grades 3–5 students outpace the Texas average by nearly 10 percentage points on the STAAR assessment.
