Starting this fall, you can now access Literacy Tasks with digital administration to maximize your teaching time by minimizing administrative tasks.

Our next step will be to bring voice-enabled learning experiences to i-Ready, powered by the SoapBox voice engine which has been built specifically for children’s voices and known for its commitment to accuracy, privacy, and equity.

Envision the future of i-Ready Literacy Tasks with voice-enabled capabilities: a voice-enabled reading tool listening to students read out loud, scoring them individually, automatically, and accurately, and returning objective, actionable performance data to you.

A new chapter in the evolution of i-Ready Literacy Tasks is coming. Limited access will be available to select districts as part of a beta program in 2025-2026.*

*In the 2025–2026 school year, our voice-enabled technology will be mostly available for formative assessment purposes and is not widely approved for state screening purposes. The i-Ready team is pursuing the necessary research and state approvals to support state-screening use cases in the future.
