About Laura Bryant

Laura Bryant is a Grade 3 dual-language teacher at Central Elementary in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She has been teaching for 14 years in a Grades K–5 dual-language setting. Laura is driven by her passion for social justice and equity in elementary education and advocates to promote biliteracy. She speaks at state and national conferences where she shares instructional strategies and practices that have proven to be successful. Laura is an active board member of New Mexico National Board Certified Teacher Network and a professional learning facilitator, and she strives to inspire others to become accomplished teachers. When Laura is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, baking, exercising, and crafting. She has a B.S. in Elementary Education from New Mexico State University and an M.S.Ed. from Capella University, with endorsements in TESOL, Bilingual Education, and English Language Arts. She is also a National Board-Certified Teacher with a certificate area in Literacy: Reading-Language Arts.
