About David Cisneros

David Cisneros, national director of Spanish content and implementation at Curriculum Associates, began his career in education as a bilingual teacher. He was mentored into a leadership role and became an elementary school principal in Redlands USD. Among his achievements, he earned a California Distinguished School designation at Smiley ES and opened Highland Grove ES, a brand-new campus in 2005. He is passionate about all students experiencing success, supporting great teaching, and guiding administrators to achieve their academic goals. With more than 15 years of school leadership experience, David brings a level of understanding to administrators looking for support in new initiatives at both the site and district levels. He earned his M.A. in education at Claremont Graduate University.
