After a rigorous evaluation, Tacoma Public Schools in Washington State chose Curriculum Associates' i-Ready Diagnostic as its new student assessment system for grades K–10. The three-month-long review process involved a written submission and formal presentation that was evaluated by members of the Tacoma District Student Assessment System team. Several companies were considered, however the team gave Curriculum Associates the highest score, 94.68 out of 100 possible points.
“This recognition testifies to the high level of rich data i-Ready provides students, teachers, and parents as they work to improve learning outcomes and ensure students are prepared for college and professional life,” said Rob Waldron, CEO of Curriculum Associates. “Our adaptive technology provides a window into students' strengths and weaknesses in order to support teachers in helping all students progress academically.”
