Academic Achievement at the End of the 2020–2021 School Year

The COVID-19 pandemic left educators with a lot of important questions: How will students’ learning be impacted? What gaps in learning will we see in the coming school year?

Compiling a year’s worth of data, our researchers investigated how COVID-19 learning influenced students’ academic success in 2020–2021. While the data reflected some progress, many students were unprepared for their grade-level benchmarks.
