Impact of Magnetic Reading Foundations on Overall Reading Scores in Grade 2

This study examined the impact of Magnetic Reading Foundations on Grade 2 students’ overall Reading scores in a non-intervention setting and under real-world conditions. Results show use of Magnetic Reading Foundations is associated with an increase in scores on the i-Ready Diagnostic for Reading compared to students who did not use Magnetic Reading Foundations even after controlling for the amount of time spent on i-Ready Personalized Instruction. This study meets the requirements for Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Level 2 evidence.
