Stretch Growth targets provide ambitious yet attainable growth goals that can help students embark on a path to grade-level proficiency. We explored placement levels after different growth patterns for students below grade level to evaluate the impact of Stretch Growth. We found Typical Growth was not adequate to scale students to grade level, but Stretch Growth offered a viable path to grade-level placement after two years.
