Alignment with Georgia's Standards Leads to Academic Growth

Overview

Achievement Up with Standards-Aligned Tools

Toombs County Schools needed a Georgia Standards of Excellence-aligned interim assessment program they could use districtwide to predict student performance on the annual state assessment, identify student learning needs, and deliver teacher-friendly resources to help make personalized instruction available even in the busiest classrooms. After studying learning gains at Toombs Central Elementary School with the implementation of i-Ready Assessment and Personalized Instruction, the district piloted these programs across its elementary and middle schools, achieving steady improvements in student performance.
