Virginia District Looks at Learning from Students’ Perspective
Education leaders at Suffolk Public Schools (SPS) in Virginia wanted to double down on student achievement, so the district began to look at new and innovative ways to take its support of all students—as well as educators—to the next level. This included finding a new formative assessment to inform teaching and learning. After a successful pilot program, SPS adopted i-Ready Assessment and Personalized Instruction.
