More Students Are Meeting Standards

Phoenix-Talent Schools saw a 10-percentage point increase in students meeting grade-level or higher mathematics proficiency during the 2019–2020 school year versus the previous school year, according to i-Ready Diagnostic data. Efforts to support K–8 success included i-Ready Personalized Instruction, Teacher Toolbox, and i-Ready Classroom Mathematics, with i-Ready Assessment data guiding instruction at the high school level. The district also boasted the highest graduation rate in its county, including 100 percent of its homeless students.
