Analyzing Achievement to Measure Instructional Impact

In 2019, Little Silver Borough Public Schools' well-earned reputation as a top-performing Grades pre-K–8 district included a 90 percent proficiency rate in English language arts (ELA) and an 85 percent proficiency rate in math, outpacing the state’s proficiency rates of 58 percent and 45 percent, respectively. The district’s dedicated educators credit the analysis of multiple measures—including insights provided by i-Ready's standards-based assessments—to determine whether instructional practices have a measurable impact.
