Top-Performing New Jersey District Embraces Data
Little Silver Borough Public Schools is a top-performing pre-K–8 district located approximately 50 miles from New York City on the New Jersey coast. Students at the district’s two schools have consistently had fantastic performances on the annual New Jersey Student Learning Assessments (NJSLA). The district’s 18-person data committee meets regularly to analyze data from multiple sources, including i-Ready Assessment, and to discuss trends, instruction, and ways learning can be supported.
