Grant Supports Designated School's Performance Turnaround

Overview

Demonstrated Growth Changes School's Status

When one of Hardeman County Schools K–8 buildings was added to the state's Additional Targeted Support and Improvement (ATSI) list in 2019, the district worked with Curriculum Associates’ Grants team to secure a Tennessee Adaptive Learning Technology Grant. This funding enabled the district to pilot i-Ready Assessment and Personalized Instruction to support learners in need. According to the Department of Education, students at the identified site were able to demonstrate enough growth to graduate from the ATSI designation.
