About Natalie (Nina) Henderson

Natalie (Nina) Henderson is a Grade 3 teacher of all the English Learners at Lakeshore Elementary School in Greece Central District, Rochester, New York. She has been teaching for six years and received her tenure status in year four. Nina has contributed to her school community in numerous ways, including sitting on the School Improvement team, the Committee for Equity across the building, and the Student Leadership Committee. She was also the Grade 3 team lead for two years. Nina is passionate about collaborating with her colleagues to best meet her students’ needs, using educational technology and current best practices while seeking equity and inclusion in the school setting. Outside of school, Nina maintains a social media presence to learn from other educators and improve her craft. She holds a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and an M.S. in Special Education from Niagara University.
