Meghan Mayer is a sixth and eighth grade ESE English teacher at Brookside Middle School in Sarasota, Florida, and a member of the inaugural class of Curriculum Associates Extraordinary Educators. She has worked with middle school students at every grade level since 2015 and believes that building positive relationships with students is the foundation for academic success. Meghan has a true passion for working with children; she’s never afraid to be herself with her students. Originally from Oak Park, Michigan, Meghan grew up volunteering with children with special needs and working at her church. She currently lives in Florida with her husband and two young daughters.
