

About Kimberly Alexander
Kimberly K. Alexander is a fifth grade teacher at Namaqua Elementary in Loveland, Colorado. With a B.A. from Cal State San Bernardino and an M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction, she has dedicated 28 years to education. Kimberly teaches a broad curriculum to fifth graders and actively leads initiatives as the Wellness Committee Leader, Social-Emotional Learning Lead focusing on Character Strong, and a key member of the School Leadership and Implementation teams. She also heads the Destination Imagination club at her school and coaches Girls on the Run, fostering creativity and resilience among her students. Originally from Colton, California, Kimberly is a mother to three, and she enjoys spending time in nature, traveling, singing, and engaging with history and writing. Her career is driven by a commitment to ensuring every student feels a sense of belonging, safety, and acceptance, helping each one feel heard, valued, and loved.
