About Elda Garcia
Dr. Elda Garcia is vice president of strategic partnerships at Curriculum Associates, where she leverages 25 years of experience in public education to empower students, educators, and leaders nationwide. She is a skilled builder of strategic partnerships, fostering collaboration and leadership development to drive systemic improvement. Dr. Garcia believes strongly in the power of networking to achieve collective educational success. Her previous leadership roles include executive director for the National Association of Testing Professionals, president of the Texas Statewide Network of Assessment Professionals, and senior director in the Office of Assessment & Accountability at Corpus Christi Independent School District. These experiences, coupled with her counseling background, have solidified her commitment to enhancing educational systems and experiences for all students. Dr. Garcia holds a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University—Corpus Christi, an M.S. from Texas A&M University—Kingsville, and a B.A. from Texas A&I University. Her extensive educational background and significant leadership experience demonstrate her dedication to connecting educational leaders and communities with the resources they need to promote continuous learning and growth.
