About Sarah Silvernail
Sarah Silvernail is an accomplished educator with more than a decade of experience in various teaching roles, currently serving as a sixth grade teacher at Schroon Lake Central School since 2017. Sarah’s journey in education is fueled by a passion for empowering students to reach their fullest potential. She continuously seeks innovative ways to enhance her teaching, such as implementing data-driven strategies to improve literacy and math outcomes and consistently demonstrating exceptional student growth. Outside the classroom, Sarah actively contributes to her school community by serving on various committees, all aimed at fostering a positive and collaborative learning environment. With her dedication to ongoing professional learning, including her status as a NYS Master Teacher Emeritus, she remains committed to driving meaningful change in education. Sarah holds a B.A. from the University at Albany, an M.A.T. in English, and an M.S. in Literacy from Sage Graduate School.
