About Lisa Mucci

Lisa Mucci, national literacy consultant, served the educators in the North Central Florida and Panhandle regions for seven years as a professional learning specialist and regional/implementation literacy consultant. In addition to serving her regions, she supported multiple English language arts portfolio core and Magnetic Foundations™ implementations across the country. Prior to joining CA, Lisa spent 32 years as an educator teaching primary and intermediate grades, facilitating a schoolwide reading program, and coaching and delivering professional learning as a district Title I literacy trainer. She earned an M.Ed. in Reading (Grades K–12) from the University of Central Florida and held a National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification in Early Childhood. As a literacy leader, she is committed to empowering students and educators with the tools they need to unlock the power of reading and writing. Literacy is the foundation of all learning, and by fostering strong, confident readers and writers, we open doors to endless opportunities. Her goal is to inspire a love for literacy, equip teachers with effective strategies, and create a culture in which words have the power to shape futures.
