About Debbie Smith

Debbie Smith is vice president of government relations, leading a team at Curriculum Associates that collaborates with local, state, and national stakeholders to support educational policies and programs that best serve educators, students, and parents. She’s been a classroom educator and served at the Oklahoma Department of Education leading assessment, standards, and curriculum. She currently serves on the executive board for Knowledge Alliance, actively blogs and writes about educational issues and trends, and has delivered numerous presentations and testimony to educators, legislators, and industry leaders as a subject-matter expert. Her passion is supporting dedicated educators who nurture, challenge, and work tirelessly to set students up for success.
