About Dr. Rocio del Castillo-Perez

Dr. Rocio del Castillo-Perez brings more than 25 years of experience in special education, bilingual, and dual-language programs. Her career spans roles as a school psychologist, teacher, instructional coach, and administrator. She is an adjunct professor and coauthor of Teaching Reading in Spanish: A Linguistically Authentic Framework for Emerging Multilinguals. She specializes in cross-linguistic transfer, Spanish literacy instruction, and dual-language program implementation through her work as primary consultant and cofounder of Via Educational Consulting.
