About Angie Gates

Angie Gates nurtures complex English language arts (ELA) implementations across the country as a field support manager for ELA implementation for Curriculum Associates. Leveraging nearly 30 years in education as a classroom teacher, regional literacy consultant, university field supervisor, curriculum specialist, and professional learning specialist, Angie is on a mission to confirm and challenge educators’ thoughts about what’s truly possible to achieve in the classroom and help educators make the connection between the “why” and the “how.” Angie is especially passionate about the art of teaching reading rooted in the science and ensuring all students have access to strong foundational skills instruction and regular engagement with grade-level text.
