About Woody Paik
Woody Paik serves as executive vice president at Curriculum Associates, leading the company’s Partnerships, Sales, and Educator Advocacy teams. He works closely with districts and schools nationwide to implement coherent assessment systems and standards-aligned curriculum with a shared goal of ensuring equitable outcomes for all learners. As a former classroom teacher, Woody understands the many challenges schools and districts must navigate to support their students. His educator lens has helped build strong partnerships with many large urban districts around the country in his work designing and supporting successful data-driven implementation strategies. Since joining Curriculum Associates in 2009, Woody helped launch the company’s award-winning i-Ready and Ready programs, which currently serve more than 13 million students. To equip teachers with the best tools and data to help students achieve, Woody championed enhancements to the i-Ready growth measures to more accurately reflect and predict learning gains. An educator at heart, Woody takes a hands-on approach in supporting districts with custom growth reporting, focusing on the individual priorities of each district and ensuring data guides decision making. Woody holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. He lives in northern Virginia with his wife and three children.
