About Amber Venoutsos
Amber Venoutsos has taught Grades 1 and 2 in Enfield, Connecticut for 17 years. She loves the energy of the primary grades, and her classroom is full of smiles and connection. Amber has served her district in various capacities, including committee work on curriculum development, PBIS, and trauma-informed classrooms. She serves as a mentor for the CT Teacher Residency Program and has created an initiative called PAWS Time at her school to build positive relationships between students and staff. Amber was honored as both Enfield’s Teacher of the Year and as a semifinalist for CT Teacher of the Year 2023. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut’s Neag School of Education and holds two master’s degrees in curriculum and instruction and elementary reading and literacy. Amber resides in South Windsor, CT with her husband, Nik, and three sons, Niko, Nolan, and Nash.
