Making Classrooms Better Places for Teachers and Students Since 1969

For more than 50 years, our work has evolved alongside classrooms—beginning with print materials designed to support students who needed extra help. As standards became clearer and classrooms more complex, educators needed faster, more precise insight into student learning.

Technology helped make that possible, not as a replacement for teaching, but as a way to better understand and support each student in real time.

In summer 2011, we launched i-Ready Inform (formerly i-Ready Diagnostic) to provide precise insight into each student’s strengths and gaps in reading and mathematics. i-Ready Personalized Instruction then delivers targeted lessons aligned to those needs. 

Our goal is to maximize the amount of time students spend interacting with each other and their teachers. What students learn in i-Ready they can apply in class right away, through their increased confidence and ability to engage in hands-on activities, discussion, oral presentations, and written work. 

Our team continues to innovate to help teachers serve their students working at different levels and with different learning styles within the same classroom. 

Developed and reviewed by experts with deep subject matter knowledge, today the i-Ready portfolio spans print and digital resources. These include the core curricula i-Ready Classroom Mathematics, Magnetic Literacy, Mosaico, and Stile Education for science, as well as print-based supplemental and intervention programs like Dr. Anita Archer’s Phonics for Reading and BRIGANCE.
