Lloyd Jones is an executive director with Curriculum Associates and a national expert on the role data plays in student outcomes in mathematics. Jones speaks widely on high-impact practices, specializing in the transformative power of mathematical discourse as it engenders true engagement and a lifelong love of mathematics for teachers and students. Administrators across the country have benefited from Jones's consultative service as they work to achieve high Standards for Mathematical Practice. An in-demand teacher favorite at both regional and national conferences, he shares an exuberance for mathematics in practical ways and informs the development of instructional materials across Curriculum Associates’ mathematics materials. Jones is a National Board Certified Teacher, an honor he worked toward and achieved as a demonstration of his passion and commitment to educational excellence and high-quality instruction for all students. He taught for more than 10 years in North Carolina, where he lives with his wonderful wife and two beautiful redheaded daughters.
