How is using i-Ready Personalized Instruction with fidelity associated with state test performance?

In South Carolina, across all grades in both reading and mathematics, students who used i-Ready Personalized Instruction with fidelity demonstrated higher state test scores and were more likely to be proficient than students who did not use i-Ready Personalized Instruction with fidelity.

To understand the association between the use of i-Ready Personalized Instruction and performance on the South Carolina College- and Career-Ready Assessments (SC READY), Curriculum Associates evaluated SC READY scores and proficiency levels for 106,307 students in Grades 3–8 across 39 school districts. These analyses examined the difference in state scores and proficiency rates between students who used i-Ready Personalized Instruction with fidelity and students using the program less consistency, accounting for fall performance.
