The Ohio Department of Education (ODE) recently approved Curriculum Associates’ i‑Ready® Diagnostic for five separate assessment uses for the 2019–2020 school year. i‑Ready Diagnostic is part of the award-winning i‑Ready online diagnostic and instructional program, which has more than 6.7 million users nationwide.
ODE issued a Common Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to help districts strategically identify vendor assessments for multiple purposes. According to the ODE website, this unified process has strengthened its technical evaluation to ensure approved assessments are sound and appropriate measures.
The ODE approved i‑Ready Diagnostic in the following five categories:
