Rob Waldron Selected for Pahara and Aspen Institutes' Education Fellowship

Curriculum Associates' CEO to team up with innovative educational leaders to improve educational outcomes for students

North Billerica, MA, January 3, 2014

Curriculum Associates' CEO, Rob Waldron, has been selected to be a member of the newest cohort of the prestigious Pahara-Aspen Education Fellowship. A joint venture of the Aspen Institute and the Pahara Institute, the fellowship aims to bring together exceptional education leaders from the private, public, and nonprofit education sectors to tackle challenges and begin to break down the silos that exist in order to make real change for students and public education as a whole.

“I am honored to have been chosen to join such an esteemed group of education leaders as part of the Pahara-Aspen Education Fellowship,” said Waldron. “As a veteran of the nonprofit and private sectors, and as someone who works every day with teachers and administrators in public schools across the country, I believe strongly that we must break down the barriers between the different sectors in education to make real change for students in this country. This joint venture between the Aspen Institute and Pahara Institute allows us to learn from each other in a way that fosters collaboration and true community. I can't wait to get started.”

As part of the two-year commitment, Rob will join two dozen education leaders in moderated seminars, readings, projects, and events. At the conclusion of the Fellowship, he will become part of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, a group of nearly 1,700 entrepreneurial leaders from 46 countries that support each other in efforts large and small to make the world a better place.
