From Projections to Performance: Using i-Ready Data to Drive State Test Readiness

This workshop equips K–12 school leaders with the knowledge and tools to strategically use interim assessment data—specifically from i-Ready—to prepare students for success on state assessments. Participants will learn how to interpret projected proficiency levels, identify student groups based on projection scenarios, and integrate multiple data sources to inform instructional planning and resource allocation.

Understand Projected Proficiency: Linking Studies + Growth Model:
Understand how i-Ready calculates beginning-of-year and mid-year projected proficiency levels, what these projections reveal about student readiness for state assessments, and the role of typical and stretch growth attainment in actualizing projections.

Identify Focus Groups:
Analyze custom i-Ready projected proficiency data to group students based on performance trajectories to strategically allocate resources and target support.
