Impact Spotlight: From Signals to Systems: Using a Tier 1 Lens to Make Data Coherent

Educators are drowning in data but struggling to act on it, often for lack of a coherent framework for what to ask first. This session, Evergreen School District in WA will share a Tier 1-first data interpretation routine grounded in Washington’s MTSS framework. Participants examine how persistent achievement gaps signal system conditions before student needs, then leave with leadership moves, data-conversation guardrails, and a tool-agnostic routine for reading any screening or diagnostic data through an instructional lens.
