Confidence in a Discourse-Driven Math Class

Discourse-driven classrooms encourage critical thinking, collaboration, the critiquing of others, and a growth mindset. In order for discourse to thrive, students need to feel comfortable and confident. This program agnostic session will focus on strategies for facilitating and enhancing mathematical discussions in the classroom as well as providing fresh ideas on how to create an environment where students can thrive, own their learning and develop deeper conceptual understanding.
