About
Yu Su, PhD, is a Senior Research Scientist at Curriculum Associate. She earned her doctorate in Psychometrics and Measurement from the University of Florida. Her work focuses on literacy and interim assessments, as well as the development and evaluation of computer-adaptive testing algorithms, including work supporting i-Ready Inform (formerly i-Ready Diagnostic). She applies rigorous psychometric methods to address practical measurement challenges and enhance assessment quality for students in K–12 settings. Prior to joining Curriculum Associates, Dr. Su worked as a psychometrician at Amplify Education, where she applied psychometric methodology to support the development and validation of DIBELS assessments for children, contributing to the design, analysis, and continuous improvement of early literacy measures.
