Lauren Stargel, Ph.D.

Lauren Stargel is an Associate Director of Efficacy and Implementation Research at Curriculum Associates. Her team conducts research on CA’s suite of literacy products and programs to better understand the impact on student learning and outcomes. Prior to joining CA, Lauren worked as a quantitative researcher at the American Institutes for Research where she conducted evaluation research on educational programs at the state and federal level. She has worked in the efficacy and evaluation space for over 10 years, from supporting non-profit organizations in building their own internal evaluation capacity to conducting large-scale, longitudinal randomized controlled trials (RCTs). She earned her Ph.D. in Applied Human Development from Tufts University, where she focused on evaluation in early childhood.
