Kelsey Young

Kelsey Young is the Associate Director of Research Insights and Analytics at Curriculum Associates, where she leads national thought‑leadership research. Kelsey’s education career spans roles as a paraprofessional, behavior therapist, early childhood researcher, behavioral intervention coach, and state‑level consultant. These diverse experiences shaped her commitment to research that balances rigor with real‑world relevance, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for educators and communities. Her academic research examined barriers to implementing evidence‑based practices in the support and identification of students with disabilities, blending methodological rigor with meaningful policy implications. Before joining CA, Kelsey managed large‑scale studies for other educational technology providers, partnering with school districts to evaluate program efficacy and inform product improvement. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota.
