Fusun Sahin

About

Fusun Sahin earned her doctorate from University at Albany, State university of New York in 2017. Her doctoral research has been about detecting disengaged students in PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment) and various factors related to disengagement. She started working in American Institutes for Research (AIR) in 2017. During her time at AIR, she worked on process data from National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) and conducted multiple studies to inform assessment operations such as students' use of calculator, and other on-screen features, conducted reviews of various NAEP data products and reports, and authored a NAEP study report geared towards non-researchers. Fusun joined Curriculum Associates in 2022 and she has been continuing working on process data, data collection, and using data analysis to inform decisions for the i-Ready personalized instruction products.
