i-Ready Student Data Privacy: Our Commitment

Trust Earned Over Half a Century

Since 1969, Curriculum Associates has been a leader in developing research-based curriculum and assessment tools with input from educators. Our focus has never wavered: improving student outcomes. Whether in our print or digital resources, we are guided first and foremost by what works best for teachers and students.

We take data privacy very seriously and are proud to have earned the trust of many school districts over our 57-year history in education.

About the Civil Lawsuit

A civil lawsuit has been filed involving i‑Ready. A number of education technology providers have been targeted by similar civil lawsuits. The claims in the litigation against us are legally meritless. We do not sell student data to third parties, use student data for advertising, or build commercial profiles on students.

i-Ready requires only limited personal information necessary to deliver the personalized instruction and assessment services requested by our customers. All use of student data is for educational purposes, with consent of the schools and districts that own that data, and consistent with applicable federal and state laws.

Our Commitment to Student Data Privacy

We know that trust is essential when it comes to student data. As the publisher of i‑Ready Inform™ and i‑Ready Personalized Instruction, we remain fully committed to protecting student information and supporting schools with safe, high-quality, effective learning tools.
