Curriculum Associates CEO Kelly Sia Named Finalist for Stevie® Award for Woman of the Year, Education

Winners to Be Announced November 16 at Ceremony in New York City

NORTH BILLERICA, MA, October 1, 2026

Kelly Sia, CEO of Curriculum Associates, has been named a Stevie® Award Finalist in the Woman of the Year, Education category of the 23rd annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor the achievements of women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run around the world. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world's premier business award.

More than 1,500 entries from organizations and individuals in 56 nations and territories were submitted this year for consideration in more than 300 categories. Finalists were determined based on the average scores of more than 200 business professionals worldwide, serving across seven judging committees.

Sia became CEO of Curriculum Associates on January 1, 2025, making her the third person to lead the company in its 57-year history and the first woman to hold the role. She joined Curriculum Associates in 2020 as CFO, and served as COO and then President before stepping into the CEO position. She now leads a global team of more than 2,700 employees.

"Being named a finalist is a reflection of the entire Curriculum Associates team," said Sia. "Every decision we make comes back to one question: does this make classrooms better for students and teachers? I'm glad that discipline is recognized, and I'm grateful to the people who bring it to life every day."

Under Sia's leadership, Curriculum Associates has expanded its reach across more grade levels, subjects, and student needs: the company acquired Ellevation Education to deepen support for English learners, added SoapBox Labs to strengthen early literacy and reading fluency, and brought Stile Education into the portfolio to offer rigorous middle school science instruction. Curriculum Associates also launched Magnetic Literacy and introduced i-Ready Pro to better serve older learners. Today, the company serves more than 17 million students and one million teachers in all 50 states, with more than 5,300 districts and 37,000 schools using i-Ready and a renewal rate of more than 90 percent.

Sia has also been named a Boston Globe Tech Power Player, received the ASU+GSV Power of Women Award, and been selected as EdTech Breakthrough's CEO of the Year.

Maggie Miller, president of the Stevie Awards, said, "As the Stevie Awards for Women in Business marks its 23rd year, we continue to be impressed by the remarkable accomplishments represented among the nominations. It is especially rewarding to see the significance a Stevie Award holds for women and the recognition it brings to their achievements, careers, and organizations. We congratulate all of this year's finalists and look forward to revealing the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award placements on November 16."

Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Grand Stevie Award placements will be announced at a ceremony in New York City on November 16, where more than 400 women and their guests from around the world are expected to attend the celebration, which will be broadcast live.
