The Boston Globe Names Curriculum Associates a 2022 Top Place to Work

This is the ninth consecutive year the education technology company has been honored with this recognition

North Billerica, MA, December 4, 2022

For the ninth consecutive year, Curriculum Associates is proud to announce that it has been named a Top Place to Work in Massachusetts, according to The Boston Globe. Top Places to Work recognizes the most admired workplaces in the state voted on by the people who know them best—their employees. The survey measures employee opinions about their company’s direction, execution, connection, management, work, pay and benefits, and engagement. Employers are placed into one of four groups: small, with 50–99 employees; medium, with 100–249 workers; large, with 250–999; and largest, with 1,000 or more.

Curriculum Associates was listed as a winner in the large company category.

“It’s an honor to lead an organization where our work is driven by a higher purpose and where our employees share a commitment to improving outcomes for students,” said Rob Waldron, CEO of Curriculum Associates. "This recognition is a testament to the satisfaction that comes from mission-driven work, and it propels us to ensure every team member sees the broader impact of their efforts."

Curriculum Associates, an education technology company guided by its core mission to make classrooms better places for students and teachers, believes all children can succeed given the right tools and support. The success of this mission is driven by its close to 2,200 valued staff members. Prioritizing the happiness and health of employees, Curriculum Associates offers a range of benefits including flexible work hours and vacation time, expanded parental leave, deductible-free health insurance, virtual fitness classes, mental health support, and more.

"The pandemic has changed the way we work, and the employers who topped the list understand it goes far beyond the remote versus in-office debate," said Katie Johnston, The Boston Globe’s Top Places to Work editor. "Workers want flexibility, of course, but they also want more support, more humanity, and a greater sense of purpose."

The rankings in Top Places to Work are based on confidential survey information collected by Energage (formerly Workplace Dynamics), an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention, from more than 90,000 individuals at 381 Massachusetts organizations—the most companies ever surveyed in the state. The winners share key traits including flexibility to continue working remotely, tracking progress on efforts to support a diverse workforce, and, above all, remembering to have some fun along the way.
