Curriculum Associates, an education technology company that provides classroom support to more than 12.5 million students and 800,000 teachers nationwide, will be celebrating the opening of its Greensboro office with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, September 21 from noon to 1 p.m.
In celebration of the occasion, West February First Place in Downtown Greensboro will be closed to traffic to make room for music, food provided by Duck Donuts and Taqueria el Azteca, lawn games, and brief welcome messages by Tyrone Holmes, chief inclusion officer, and Shrina Sood, assistant vice president of talent and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB). The event is free and open to the public.
“Greensboro’s thriving downtown and diverse community drew us in,” said Holmes. “As a learning company, we are excited to engage with local universities and organizations, becoming deeply embedded in the city and the region as we further our work improving outcomes for students.”
Curriculum Associates’ new office is on the third floor of 200 S. Elm St. in the heart of Downtown Greensboro and the Social District. The 8,475-square-foot office is in the historic Meyer’s Building, which also houses the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce and is within walking distance of some of the best restaurants, shops, and attractions the city has to offer, including the International Civil Rights Center and Museum.
The company is actively hiring for roles across the organization and for Greensboro-specific roles in engineering and inside sales, with more openings to come soon.
