Curriculum Associates’ CEO, Rob Waldron, has been named a finalist in the CEO of the Year category for the 2018 Mass Technology Leadership Council (MassTLC) Technology Leadership Awards. Other finalists in this category include the CEOs of Carbonite, Mimecast, Everbridge, ezCater, Care.com, UMass Lowell, Globalization Partners, LogMeIn and The Predictive Index.
Waldron is on a mission to prove to the education and technology industries that an ethical company with a long-term focus can outperform its peers and support the strongest gains for students. He believes that successful companies must have a higher purpose and promote a culture in which employees are driven by that purpose to succeed, and he has enacted numerous conscious business policies to make that a reality. Under his leadership, Curriculum Associates’ revenues and employee numbers have quintupled, making it one of the nation’s fastest-growing K–12 edtech companies. Finalists were selected from hundreds of nominations and judged by industry leaders. Winners were announced at the MassTLC Leadership Awards Gala on October 3 at Boston’s Seaport World Trade Center.
