Georgia State University’s College of Education & Human Development (CEHD) recently received a two-year, $1.2-million grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to support Clayton County Public Schools’ middle school teachers implementing Ready Mathematics 6–8, ©2020 Edition and iReady in their classrooms.

Curriculum Associates is proud to partner with these organizations on this initiative!

As part of this initiative . . .

  • CEHD faculty and doctoral students will collaborate with master teachers and coaches to provide supplemental support to middle school teachers implementing Ready Mathematics 6–8, ©2020 Edition and iReady.
  • Teachers will receive ongoing professional learning opportunities that will help them effectively teach the mathematics curriculum and improve student achievement, particularly for students of color and those who live in low-income communities.
  • The partnership team will develop manuals and teaching modules that other school systems in Georgia and around the country can use to successfully implement mathematics curricula at the middle school level.
