He also attended the University of St. Francis, where he earned two master’s degrees in Teaching and Learning (with endorsements in ESL and TESOL) and in Leadership (with endorsements in Principal Leadership and Teacher Leader). Felix has taught at his current school for the last eight years and has been teaching the Ready curriculum in Math for the last six years and the Magnetic Reading curriculum for the last three years. Education runs in his family—his dad was a teacher, as was his mother’s father. Growing up, he enjoyed teaching his younger cousins something new and always knew he wanted to become an elementary teacher. He is proud to say he fulfilled that dream.
