Apply to Be a Curriculum Associates’ 2021 Extraordinary Educator

In fall 2019, Curriculum Associates launched our Extraordinary Educators program, which recognizes and celebrates . . . well . . . educators who are extraordinary.

The members of our inaugural Extraordinary Educators class come from all over the United States and work in a wide variety of schools. Over the past year, they’ve participated in our Extraordinary Educator podcast, provided insight and thought leadership, and generally exemplified the qualities that distinguish great educators.

Want to Join Them?

We are looking for candidates for our next class of Extraordinary Educators. Like our 2020 Extraordinary Educators, our 2021 members will receive recognition (both locally and nationally), access to a network of peers from around the country, professional development opportunities, and the chance to attend the Extraordinary Educators Leadership Summit (in person, if safe to do so, or virtually).

What Are the Criteria?

We are looking for educators who . . .

  • Have taught for at least two full years
  • Have experience using i-Ready and/or Ready in their classroom
  • Illustrate growth and achievement via formal assessments (e.g., i-Ready, state assessments, etc.)
  • Demonstrate classroom innovation and engagement practices for students
  • Are evangelists for high expectations and student achievement
  • Actively use social media (at least one platform)
  • Are willing to participate in various activities throughout the year
