About Thelma Metcalf-Forte
Thelma Metcalf-Forte, Ed.S. is a dedicated educator with more than 30 years of experience serving students and schools. A graduate of Henderson State University, Thelma has served in numerous leadership roles throughout her career, including classroom teacher, assistant principal, elementary principal, district superintendent, and now principal of Arkansas Middle School in the Texarkana Arkansas School District. She has also worked in virtual education as a regional director of instruction and is a Master Principal who collaborates with and mentors school leaders across Arkansas. Known for her student-centered, servant-leadership approach, Thelma presents at state and national conferences, sharing practical strategies that help educators and students thrive. She is deeply involved in her community, volunteering through local outreach programs and partnering with organizations to support student success. Thelma and her husband, Tracy, have been married for 26 years and have one daughter, Mia.
